We’re proud to share the collaborative work we’ve done with other organizations to help ensure our planet is getting the care it deserves.
Disc-O-Bed is supporting tree planting efforts through the Arbor Day Foundation. In 2023, Disc-O-Bed’s partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation will help to plant at least 5,000 trees in Disc-O-Bed USA’s home state of Georgia.
Arbor Day Impact Metric PageArbor Day Foundation’s partnership with the Georgia Forestry Commission and property owners is focused on restoring the land to its natural state. Native loblolly, slash, and longleaf pine were planted, which helped to provide fire-tolerance as well as habitat for endangered and threatened wildlife including the red-cockaded woodpecker, indigo snake, and gopher tortoise.
We chose to support WWF in their actions to protect our planet and wildlife because we share the same goals and vision. Since our family business has its roots in South Africa, we decided to support WWF’s projects to protect the rhinos. Here you can read more about the specific projects we’re sponsoring.

We have mitigated our carbon footprint by 300 metric tons this year in thanks to our partnership with One Tribe which supports energy efficiency projects.
The three projects we support spanned from Africa to Asia and not only benefit the environment, but also the surrounding communities.
Disc-O-Bed and One Tribe are working together to make a lasting impact for the better of our planet. As a company that was born and has its roots in Africa, it was important to Disc-O-Bed to not only reduce deforestation and GreenHouse Gas emissions, but also support impoverished communities within the continent. This is why they chose to assist with the Energy Efficient Cookstove Project in Uganda and the Safe Water Project in Rwanda.

Disc-O-Bed is also a company that is proud to be an innovator in the camping and outdoor industry and understands the importance of investing into innovative and renewable energy resources. They have decided to support the transition to renewable energy by contributing to the Tropical Wind Renewable Energy Project in Thailand.
Disc-O-Bed is participating in the United Nations Framework for Climate Change to adopt the UN Sustainability Goals. Working together as one tribe to help fight climate change together.
